Air Travel and Pets Do you have to travel by air in the near future? If you do, are you a pet owner who needs to bring your pet along with you? Although most of us leave our pets at home, you may not want to do so or your purpose for travel may be to move, as opposed to taking a fun filled vacation. Regardless of your reasons for wanting or needing to travel with your pet or pets, there are a number of important points that you will need to keep in mind.

The first step in traveling with a pet is to make sure that you can do so. Although a good number of airlines will allow pets on their planes, not all will. You may be in a predicament if you plan to depart from a small airport with only one or two airlines. If they do not accept pets or if their rules and restrictions are too much for you to handle, you will want to examine other nearby airports, especially those that are larger in size.

When traveling by air with your pet or pets, it is important to remember that you will be charged an additional fee. Unfortunately, many first time pet travelers believe that they can use their pets and their pet carriers to count towards as a carry-on bag or a checked bag. This isn’t how it works though. You will, almost always, be charged an extra fee for traveling with a pet. This extra fee will likely depend on the airline in question and well as your pet’s location, such as in the cabin or in the baggage compartment.

That leads to another important point. Even with some of the airlines that allow pets, like cats and dogs, aboard their flights, not all allow pets to be in the cabin with other passengers. This is particularly common on small planes where allergies may be a big concern. If you cannot part with your pet, be sure to search for an airline that will allow you to keep him or her in the cabin with you. With that said, remember that the size of your pet will also play a huge factor in your options.

Regardless of where your pet is stored for the plane ride, you will need to have a pet carrier or crate for them. Many airlines have specific rules and restrictions on what type can be used. Resections often include materials used, as well as size. Most will provide you with that information when asked. Speaking of pet crates and carriers, it is important to make sure that you give your pet enough room to stand and move around a little bit. In fact, most airlines will refuse to transport pets that they feel are unsafe from small pet crates and carriers.

THE challenging championship 18-hole course is located about 90 minutes’ drive from Kuantan, 30 from Cheranting from the south and 15 from Kerteh from the north. The course lies on 160 acres of beach front with water guarding the greens, especially on the signature Hole 14, a par three.

The green is guarded by a bunker which turns into a water hazard when the tide is up. Equally interesting is the par 3 Hole 4 on the front nine, the Palm, which requires a full water carry to the green. Numerous greenside bunkers left and right await wayward shorts.

However, despite its difficulties this hole is a favourite hole-in-one prospect. The golf course is a big favourite for those out for an enjoyable day’s golf amidst superb surroundings – with the sea on one side and jungle and hills on the other. For variety some holes are situated in the jungle with narrow fairways which place a premium on accuracy.

TITI Hayun Waterfall is located about 3km from a small town named Yan and 40km from Alor Star City. The name ‘Titi Hayun’ or “Hanging Bridge” gets it’s name from a small hanging wooden bridge which is become the main passage to get across the stream.

Activities that can be done such as picnic, camping, jungle tracking, hiking and side seeing. The waterfall surrounding also become the main passage to climb the Mount Jerai. There’s a river stream heading to Air Terjun Puteri Mandi as far as 1km.
In May 5th 1997, the 1st step was built by the ex-Minister of Kedah, YAB. Tan Sri Sanusi Junid and and giving it’s name as ” Tangga Kenari Seribu Tahun” that have 1342 steps in conjunction with the name of a bird.

The facilities that we can get from the waterfall’s area such as toilet, playground, stalls and chalets. Chalets was built without destroying the waterfall surrounding landscapes. Rates are RM55 per pax while for the dormitory about RM25 to RM30 per pay for 2 days and 1 night.

ARE you ready to get started on the travel journey of a lifetime this holiday season but feel as though you are forgetting something important? Don't fret! All you need are a few holiday travel tips to make sure you stay on the right track. Whether you're going to spend time with your family, or are taking everyone on a fun getaway, it is important that you plan well. So to help you out I am providing some holiday travel tips that will make your vacation time with family and friends a breeze.

Find Out Peak Travel Dates
One of my top holiday travel tips is to find out when the peak travel dates are - then avoid them like a plague! Peak travel dates have two problems associated with them:
1) plane tickets, hotel rooms, car rentals, and more tend to be more expensive, and
2) everyone else will be traveling on those dates, hence the name peak travel dates.

If possible, plan your vacation time at work a few days before the peak travel period so that you can avoid the rush. And also try to plan coming back a few days after - that way you can almost always guarantee reductions in prices, reductions in holiday traffic and reductions in headaches.

Do Your Comparison Shopping
It is important to stay abreast of holiday travel tips that help you find the best deals for your money. That starts with finding flight specials and continues with locating vacation destination deals. If you are going to visit family for the holidays and are not in need of a hotel room or transportation when you arrive then flight costs are all you will need to take into consideration.

There are plenty of websites that give great holiday deals. Shop around with the major travel search engines such as Expedia and Travelocity, but also look at Cheaptickets.com and others for great rates. Also, you will be surprised to find that many airlines will have great deals if you search their website directly. And if you want the best comparison shopping experience, I recommend using SideStep.com. They use a side-by-side comparison of every flight special, sorted by price. I have found the greatest success using their services.

If you are traveling to a destination that does not include free room and board, then one of my holiday travel tips is for you to comparison shop for great all-inclusive package deals. You can find great places to stay during that holidays that have 3- and 5-night vacation packages with meals and activities included. Also, you will want to try to get a car factored into the price if you need one for your trip. The more specific you are when planning and the earlier you book, the better your results will be.

Plan Your Connecting Flights with Great Care
This is one of the holiday travel tips that will reduce your stress level significantly. I say this because I know the feeling of sitting in the airport waiting to board the first of two connections when you hear the airline attendant politely (and nervously) inform passengers that the flight has been delayed for an hour or more due to a snow storm in "Sock-It-To-Me," Kansas. When you hear the news, your thoughts quickly shift to your connecting flight that is probably scheduled to depart on time - 30 minutes after this flight is supposed to land.

You know pre-boarding begins 30 minutes prior to take off to ensure the flight leaves on schedule. And that's when questions like "What will I do if my flight doesn't land before the other flight takes off?" and "Are there additional flights available?" begin to rush through your mind. And of course, the final thought will be, "Why didn't I schedule my connecting flight for a later time?"

This anxiety can be avoided by choosing connecting flights that allow for an hour and a half or more of layover time. I know that when you make the choice to find connecting flights as close as possible to the time your first flight is to land that you are simply trying to get where you're going quickly and want to avoid boredom in the airport. But usually one and a half to two hours isn't that long when you consider that it takes time to exit the plane, find the connecting flights departing gate, which could be in another terminal, then get settled before it is time to board the second plane. Besides, if you allow yourself the extra time, you are almost guaranteed the promise of making your connecting flights - a promise that is more than welcome during the busy holiday season.

Plan Your Packing In Accordance with Current Airport Security Measures
This is one of the holiday travel tips that actually sounds unfair - and trust me; I used to feel the same way too. But after enough hassles at the airport security station, I finally gave in and realized that I couldn't change what I couldn't control. So now, instead of fussing at the ways airports are trying to ensure our safety, I simply plan ahead by packing my belongings in accordance with their security measures.

One way to do this is by making sure to pack all of liquids and gels that are larger than 3 ml in the bags I plan to check. The airport has signs up everywhere that let you know that you cannot carry liquids and gels through the security checkpoint; these items include lotion, toothpaste, baby oil, aerosols (hairspray), perfume bottles, bottled water, and much more. If you carry them through the checkpoint they will find and confiscate them - you cannot stop this from happening. So to avoid the drama, why not simply pack them away and happily greet them at the baggage claim at your destination? You are allowed to carry liquids and gels 3 ml and smaller in a zip-top, clear bag, so you are not completely left out in the cold. And by sticking to the rules, you, your family, everyone in line behind you, and airport security will be much happier.

MENARA Alor Setar (Alor Star Tower) is located in the city of Alor Setar. The word “Alor Star” are the combination of two word which is “Alor” and “Setar”. Alor means the water stream and Setar came from a tree named Setar which is categories in the group of Kundang Tree with the scientific name “Bouea macropylla”. in December 21st 2003 the spelling Alor Setar has been changed to Alor Star in conjunction with the declaration of Alor Star City.

The Alor Star Tower is a communication tower is in the 19th place in rank of world’s record and was the 2nd highest in Malaysia. The design of the head of the tower is the symbol of Kedah as the ‘rice bowl’ that produce paddy and rice. The height of the tower is 165.5 meters and the highest building in the city of Alor Star. It was built by Telekom Malaysia as a communication tower and a tourism center with the cost about RM40 million.

WEST ot the town of Sungai Petani, Bujang Valley (Lembah Bujang) was the scence of a thriving Hindu-Buddhist civilization dating to the 5th century AD. This kingdom traded with India, Cambodia and Sriwijaya and was visited by the Chinese monk I-Tsing in 671 AD.

It became part of the Sriwijaya empire of Sumatra in the 7th century AD and reached an architectural peak by the 10th century AD. Over 50 archaeological sites containing the ruins of Hindu and Buddhist temples have been found.

The temple ruins stretch all the way from Gunung Jerai to Kuala Muda in the south. The ruins were first excavated by British archaeologist Quatrich-Wales in 1936.
