Great Time at Titi Hayun Waterfall

TITI Hayun Waterfall is located about 3km from a small town named Yan and 40km from Alor Star City. The name ‘Titi Hayun’ or “Hanging Bridge” gets it’s name from a small hanging wooden bridge which is become the main passage to get across the stream.



Activities that can be done such as picnic, camping, jungle tracking, hiking and side seeing. The waterfall surrounding also become the main passage to climb the Mount Jerai. There’s a river stream heading to Air Terjun Puteri Mandi as far as 1km.
In May 5th 1997, the 1st step was built by the ex-Minister of Kedah, YAB. Tan Sri Sanusi Junid and and giving it’s name as ” Tangga Kenari Seribu Tahun” that have 1342 steps in conjunction with the name of a bird.

The facilities that we can get from the waterfall’s area such as toilet, playground, stalls and chalets. Chalets was built without destroying the waterfall surrounding landscapes. Rates are RM55 per pax while for the dormitory about RM25 to RM30 per pay for 2 days and 1 night.
